You’ve heard that the “just shall live by faith.” (Romans 1:17 NKJV) We’re considering a very important facet of a life of faith in this meditation.If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. (1 Peter 4:11 NKJV)
When we speak, we must speak in faith (as a prophet of God) and with God-given wisdom. We learn wisdom by meditating upon and feeding upon God’s Word.
As we minister, we understand that we’ve been given ability and the anointing to minister by the Lord. So, it is God’s GRACE that carries us all along the way—a gift from God.
. . . who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. (2 Cor. 3:6 NKJV)
The Holy Spirit gives life. This must be our guideline and our measure, that ALL we share and minister to others gives LIFE! Only then will God be glorified through Jesus Christ.
