Hope Can't Be Cut Short!

Welcome to this Bible meditation, friend!

For surely there is a hereafter, And your hope will not be cut off. (Prov. 23:18 NKJV))
• This promise that a person's HOPE (confident expectation) will not be cut off is most encouraging to me. I never read in the Bible that a person's love or faith will NOT be cut off--just that hope won't be! Interesting . . . This sounds like another "take" on Psalm 16:9.

“The LORD is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I hope in Him!” (Lament. 3:24 NKJV)
• Because the Lord is my portion and my inheritance, I'm empowered to hope in Him. Since ALL that the Lord IS and all that He HAS is included in my portion, this verse gives me boldness and courage to hope (be assured) persistently in Him!

Enter into a trusting, genuine relationship with the God of Salvation now, friend. Restore HOPE to your life, which will lay the foundation for mountain-moving faith!
